Arlington County created a Task Force called Langston Blvd Redevelopment Plan. The Task Force includes representation from ODCA. Per the Arlington County website, “The purpose of the planning study is to develop a comprehensive vision and policy framework for the future of the Langston Boulevard Study Area through County Board adoption of a County Plan.”

As part of the Plan Langston Blvd initiative, they have published a Preliminary Concept Plan that will affect all of us in the Old Dominion neighborhood. Our neighborhood spans Areas 2, 3 and 4. It is important for those of us in our neighborhhood to take part in the planning.

In August 2022, the planning team released a Preliminary Concept Plan (PCP) to share the planning process with the community and to solicit input from interested parties. There are multiple ways to learn more and to provide input including: attending a variety of Virtual Community Meetings , viewing a Design Studio, and to utilizing the Feedback Response Form.

As part of the PCP, there is a new Interactive Map of proposed enhancements to Langston Blvd, and a Summary Infographic detailing the planning process.
